Tyler Rector To Serve Expanded Role at R3 Digital Forensics

Effective February 1, 2023, Tyler Rector will take on a larger role within the company, expanding his responsibility beyond digital forensics to include managing the Operations Office.

Tyler, a certified forensic examiner, has been with R3 Digital Forensics for more than 10 years, and his long tenure with the company will enable him to make valuable contributions to the day-to-day operations of the business.

“Tyler has a rare combination of technical skill and investigative curiosity – the skills all great digital forensics investigators have,” said Reid Wittliff, founder and president of R3 Digital Forensics. “He is able to tackle complex problems with tenacity and perseverance, and that enables him to find the nitty gritty artifacts that resolve matters. It is this attention to detail that really sets Tyler apart.”

Since joining R3 in May 2012, Tyler has gained extensive experience in digital forensic analysis, handling matters involving intellectual property theft, computer and e-mail spying, as well as data recovery. Tyler has 10 years of experience in digital forensic investigations and the careful handling and analysis of digital evidence. He was recently re-certified by the International Association of Computer Investigation Specialists to maintain his CFCE status.
